Anycubic Mega X is an FDM printer that uses filament (PLA, PLA+) to build objects layer by layer. However, FDM prints often have visible layer lines, so some post-processing may be needed to achieve a smooth surface.
Anycubic Photon Mono 4 Ultra is an SLA printer that uses an LCD screen to cure liquid resin with UV light. It excels at creating highly detailed, intricate models, making it ideal for miniatures, figurines, and decorative pieces. However, SLA prints require additional post-processing—washing, drying, and UV curing—to ensure they are fully hardened, and some resin types can be more brittle than FDM materials.
